Rolex Submariner M-series (Kermit), 40mm, Calibre 3135 Automatic, 16610LV
$28,211.00 AUD
The Rolex Submariner Date 16610LV, widely known among collectors as the “Kermit”, was introduced in 2003 to mark the 50th anniversary of the Submariner. Its defining combination pairs a black Maxi dial with the distinctive green anodised aluminium bezel insert, the first green bezel used on a Rolex Submariner. The classic 40mm 904L stainless steel Oyster case, sapphire crystal with Cyclops date magnification and Oyster bracelet retain the proportions of the five-digit Submariner generation.
Inside is the Rolex Manufacture Calibre 3135, a self-winding mechanical chronometer movement with approximately 48 hours of power reserve. Long regarded as one of Rolex's established automatic calibres, it provides central hours, minutes and seconds together with a quick-set date at 3 o'clock. This example carries an M-series serial, placing it circa 2007–2008, within the 16610LV's 2003–2010 production period.
