Omega Speedmaster Professional, 42mm, Calibre 1861 Manual-Winding Chronograph, 3570.50

$8,212.00 AUD

Every timepiece is independently inspected, tested, and authenticated by Pilbrows Watchmakers, New Zealand's trusted watchmaking specialists since 1947, before being presented to you by Timeless Luxury.

The OMEGA Speedmaster Professional 3570.50 is one of the defining modern interpretations of the Moonwatch, retaining the traditional proportions, manual-winding movement and Hesalite crystal closely associated with the Speedmaster Professional lineage.

Its 42mm stainless steel case houses the familiar black dial with three recessed chronograph registers, luminous baton hour markers and white hands. A black tachymeter bezel, Hesalite crystal and stainless-steel bracelet preserve the functional, instrument-led aesthetic that has characterised the Speedmaster Professional for decades.

Inside is the OMEGA Calibre 1861, a manual-winding chronograph movement descended from the Calibre 861 and offering approximately 48 hours of power reserve. Used extensively throughout the modern Speedmaster Professional era, the 1861 became one of the movements most closely associated with the Moonwatch before the introduction of the current-generation Calibre 3861.

Key Features

  • Classic Moonwatch Configuration — The 42mm case, black dial, tachymeter bezel and Hesalite crystal deliver the traditional Speedmaster Professional aesthetic.
  • OMEGA Calibre 1861 — Manual-winding chronograph movement with approximately 48 hours of power reserve and direct lineage from the long-running Calibre 861.
  • Hesalite Crystal — An important part of the traditional Moonwatch character, giving the dial the distinctive warmth and visual distortion collectors associate with classic Speedmasters.
  • 42mm Stainless Steel Case — The familiar asymmetrical Speedmaster Professional case provides excellent wrist presence while protecting the crown and chronograph pushers.
  • Modern Moonwatch Heritage — The 3570.50 represents the pre-Co-Axial generation of the Speedmaster Professional and has become a particularly recognisable reference among modern Moonwatch collectors.

The Speedmaster Professional 3570.50 captures the essential character of the traditional Moonwatch before OMEGA's transition to the current Co-Axial generation. With its manual-winding Calibre 1861, Hesalite crystal and classic 42mm construction, it remains an excellent choice for enthusiasts seeking a modern Speedmaster with strong links to the collection's historic formula.
